Wireless communication in the outback Australians is an important tool that can be used in everyday life. The reasons to why this is important is there are not many people in the outback when needing particular supplies getting into contact with others from the city, there could be a dangerous situation when it is crucial to get in contact with others who can help. At the moment the devices used in the outback including homes, vehicles and buildings include Walkie Talkies, UHF radio and a last resort for any emergencies, a voice communication device. Although nowadays satellites are becoming more frequent in the outback although not as much as you would see near the city. It is said that by 2016 in the outback about 24 satellites will be places across 10 sites in grass paddocks.
Coaxial cables are used quite a lot in the outback. They work by placing this cable into a radio transmitter etc. Coaxial cables can also be found in modern homes, throughout the different sceneries they are useful to connect and work visual and audio resources
Optical Fibers are what is used to carry light. These optical fibers allow communication over long distance and do not lose as much sound.
